Visit the 11-acre Indian Key Historic State Park, where you can see the wreckage of a ship that sank in the 1800s. Check out the phrazle exposed coral reef and self-guided nature paths under the mangrove trees at Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park. This coastal community is full with exciting things to do and see for the whole family. The city is known as a mini-golfing mecca, boasting more than 50 unique courses in the surrounding region. Visit Hudson's Surfside Flea Market, or go seashell searching and explore the pier at Myrtle Beach State Park.

In addition to jet boat trips and fishing on the neighboring Rogue River, the hamlet of Gold Beach is home to quiet beaches, tidal pools, and ocean kayaking. If you go between March and May, you could be lucky enough to see several gray whales on their way north. Greece as a whole may be rather pricey, but this town is far more reasonably priced than the islands that attract the most tourists. Visit the Archaeological Museum and Casa Parlante, a palace turned museum with décor from the 1800s, while wandering the narrow streets and alleys of Corfu's Old Town. The palace of Achilleion, now a museum, has a massive picture depicting Achilles dragging Hector from his chariot.
You may stay at five-star hotels in Corfu without breaking the bank. The Olivar Suites and Domes of Corfu are fantastic options for a relaxing seaside vacation.This seaside village is about 20 minutes from Savannah's historic district and is much cheaper. There are several varied sections along the three miles of coastline on Tybee Island. South Beach is the busiest area with volleyball and dolphin-spotting, while Back River is a more secluded beach experience with a fishing pier and great views of Little Tybee, the nature preserve just south of the barrier island. The North Beach is a great place to watch birds and ships. There are several free parks, playgrounds, and trails to explore in the region.
